The new bulksystem is based on a cartridge with an external 300 ml tank. The total quantity of cartridge and tank is 0,5 litres of ink. The ink flows automatically from the external tank to the cartridge. A swimmer system keeps the ink on a constant level.
The bulksystem is available in 2 versions, with and without electronics. The electronical version is using a chip device which is connected to the chip reader of the printer. Due to this solution the chip can be changed without removing the cartridge. Signtrade offers chips for Mimaki JV-3 and Roland XC 540.
The following systems are offered:
Busy 300 with one cartridge and one external tank.
Busy 300 E has an additional chip device for the Roland (XC-540) and Mimaki JV-3.
